Unbroken // Hagar
Fifty million people are trapped in modern slavery, yet only a fraction of survivors receive the long-term support needed to rebuild their lives. Hagar International wanted to show potential donors the real impact their contributions could have in helping survivors recover with dignity.
To do this, we turned to art as a metaphor for healing. Donors were invited to restore a broken sculpture, crafted in the likeness of a survivor, using the Japanese art of Kintsugi. This hands-on experience allowed them to feel how their support helps transform pain into resilience—making survivors stronger, not just whole again.
